Case study: ecommerce website, visual identity and functionality

A premium online shop for a brand that refuses to blend in

We Got Cookies creates handmade leather harnesses and accessories for daytime style and nighttime play. The website needed to hold both sides of the brand: sensual and provocative, but also refined, trustworthy and grounded in Swedish craftsmanship.

My role: Strategy, copy, brand identity, graphic design, website design and build, and integrations.

The challenge

This was never going to work as a generic online shop. Customers need to understand the materials, sizing, fit and custom-made options before they feel comfortable ordering. At the same time, too much explanation could easily flatten the personality that makes the brand memorable.

What I brought together

I created one coherent experience around the brand world, product collections, craftsmanship, custom orders and studio appointments. Product discovery sits alongside clear information about leather, sizing and made-to-measure options, while reviews and brand stories build confidence without making the experience feel clinical.

The result is a shop that can sell bold products without asking the customer to choose between beauty and reassurance.

What the website now enables

  • Customers can understand the difference between ready-made, made-to-measure and fully custom work.
  • The quality and values behind the products are visible before someone buys.
  • Shopping, storytelling, social proof and studio contact all feel like parts of the same premium brand.
